Wagashi Time

  It was a wonderful day on last Saturday. I have applied for an event ‘Experimenting Wagashi With English’ before and I could get the chance. My good friends also could get it so we all could participated in the event. Ten people got together for the event in the morning on the day. There were many people from another countries so it was good chance for me to talk to them in English. They were very nice and friendly. One of them was a Korean and I talked to him in Japanese, he could talked to me in Japanese, too. I was surprised at that. He was a Korean but good at talking in Japanese. I thought why can he talk well like that and why can’t I talk well in English? I thought the answer is enterprising. I thought that I have to do new things more actively.
 
 In the event, everyone enjoyed making Wagashi. There were a lot of voice with laughing. We tried to make two sweets. It was a little bit difficult to use small tools but, it was interesting. Finally, we all made two sweets completely and took some photos as own memories and ate them with green tea. They were delicious.
 
I was happy to participate this event because I could make new friends and eat sweets so I want to get a chance like this event again someday.
